Too Funny For Words...

These are actual pictures, not altered in ANY way, taken by my sister, Joanna of her cat, Snickers. I think the first picture is a yawn, and the second is a sneeze. Every time I see them I just crack up!

Houseguest

I'm pretty sure we have the cutest houseguest ever...

Meet Bella, an itty bitty kitty who was rescued by a friend a couple of weeks ago. My sister, Joanna, was going to take Bella to the humane society for her, but when I called the next day to see how the drop off went, she informed me that their family now includes two cats. I knew she wouldn't be able to say good-bye to this little one!

Joanna is away this weekend, so I am on kitty duty. She sleeps a ton and I really just get her up to feed her. So far so good...and Daisie has not yet tried to munch on her!

Brad announced early on in our relationship that he is not a cat person, but....you be the judge!

Piggy Picture and Precious Puppy

The requested picture...my favorite part is the "Rachel the Pig" title across the front. In this picture my friend is feeding me a quarter as if I am in fact Rachel the Pig...don't worry, she didn't actually put it in my mouth (although I'm thinking that might be a nice, easy way to make some money...)

I just had to post a few pictures of Daisie. Look how big she is getting! She is really such a sweetheart and I love coming home to her every day.

She still does the tongue thing when she is tired - so cute!

And last but not least, I had to try to capture this...at the very tip of her tail, she has this little poof that always makes me laugh. When she is wagging her tail it's really funny because it's like she's waving a little pompom. It seems like the bigger she gets, the poofier the poof gets!

The Story of Daisie...

Disclaimer: Sorry this post is so long but I just couldn't pick between the cute pictures!!!

On Saturday, we made our long journey to pick up Daisie (5 hours one way!). Yes, we went almost all the way to West Virginia. Crazy, you may say! But one look at that little face and it was all worth it :)

Instant love!

It was so good to have Brad's mom with us.

Some things we quickly learned about our Daisie...

She loves to sleep! She slept all the way home!

Most of the time she sleeps with her tongue sticking out!

She loves her new toys...

Loves to chew...

Loves sticks...

Hates baths...

Loves to lay in the sun...

Gets along really well with other dogs...

Did I mention loves to sleep????

Loves to have her belly rubbed...

Yep, she's pretty much the cutest thing ever!
